| Meenmutty Waterfalls |
Meenmutty falls is located 27km from
Nedumangad town and 45 km from
Thiruvananthapuram (
Trivandrum) city in the state of
Kerala,
India.
From the Kallar main road the waterfall is just 3km away. The visitors
have to trek through the forests to reach the falls and special
permission from the forest department is also necessary. A guide will be
allotted for the way to the waterfalls. On the way one can enjoy the
greenery of forest , various birds and variety of butterflies. Special
attention has to be given for the
leeches during rainy season.
